Hello Mike,
I just got my rodwarmer from you today, and must tell you how wonderful it is! Here in Michigan we are having a very cold winter, and since I torch in an unattached garage workshop it's been difficult, if not impossible to work Moretti. Till now!!! Even though my 10 degree makeup air from the window was rushing past me into the vent fan, I was able to work the shocky handmade Moretti colors without losing half the rod from cracking and popping. And the glass just heated up so nicely, no gradual teasing into the flame required, and flowed smoothly onto the rod--unusual for some of those $30 a pound colors, which are either stiff or drippy, rarely in between. It is amazing that a simple device such as a rod warming oven could make such a difference, but it does!!
Thanks so much for providing us with this great appliance. Years ago I tried a homemade hotplate setup others had recommended but it didn't seem safe so I put it away. In the meantime, I've shattered many a rod end being impatient. This RANA is going to pay for itself in a very short time.
A totally satisfied customer,
Anita Pepper
