RANA Kilns are energy-efficient. For example: the Bead Annealer uses only 975 watts, yet reaches garaging temperature of 950 F in only 15 minutes. The annealer was fully temperature saturated and stable within 30 minutes. Average amperage draw was 7.7 amps at 120 Volts. During the annealing cycle cool down, the annealer followed the temperature curve exactly, adding heat when required; unlike fire brick annealers which hold heat for long periods of time. This means the annealer cools down according to YOUR exact cycle, not the annealer's, resulting in faster return to ambient room temperature.
