The RANA Bead Annealer will handle long 12" mandrels without having them hanging out the door. Door is a doggy-type door with top mounted hinge, refractory insulated. The annealer stands 8" above the table, providing plenty of safe place for storage of glass rods or tools, without fear of igniting the surface below from high temperatures.

Temperature control is handled by the on-board 4 program, 16 segment digital controller. An optional 8 program, 16 segment (combined 128 segments) is also available. A "K" type thermocouple sends temperature signals to the controller, and switching is handled by either a mechanical (standard) or mercury (optional) contactor. Each annealer is pre-programmed with 4 bead annealing programs: For soft glass: anneal at the end of the day and batch anneal, and for borosilicate: anneal at the end of day with a choice of standard or striking temperatures.

Annealers are burned-in and ready to use.
