The lens consists of a base of our AUR®-92 filter with a section of Green Welding (Shade 4, 5, 6 or 8), and a section of Green Welding (shade 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6). You may have your lenses made half and half or one third/two thirds. The shades in standard configuration are light on top and dark on the bottom. The available shade configurations are:

  • 2/4 *custom made, not returnable
  • 2/5 *custom made, not returnable

This filter is particularly valuable for use in fuming and other tasks where the brightness of the flame is a problem. It will also lend itself to most borosilicate glass work where larger sculptural work is done. By tipping your head you can change the shade number you are viewing through as the brightness of the glass changes.

These lenses cannot be inserted into a clip on frame.

Lenses are available in plano (non-prescription), and single vision only.

Protected under United States Patent Number 6,612,697.
